Community is more important than EVER. We need to learn how to communicate, fellowship, listen, and build beauty and safety for ourselves and those around us. There are a handful of wonderful events coming up SOON for intentional community seekers - so I want to help spread the word about a few happening online and in the Western Washington area:

Income-Sharing Panel Tomorrow - Tues. Sept. 16th

Register: Income-Sharing in Intentional Communities Webinar

Intentional community is all about sharing. While all intentional communities utilize some degree of expense-sharing, a handful of them use a radical economic model through “income-sharing”. Income-sharing brings with it a number of practical and ideological benefits, as well as unique challenges, as it forges a new path towards reimagining our relationship with collective resources.

During this webinar, Sky Blue will provide an in-depth look at the what, why, and how of income-sharing. Following the presentation, you will hear from a panel of guests who have lived in income-sharing communities including Reggie from Acorn Community Farm,  Summer Tupelo from Twin Oaks Community, Michael Johnson from Ganas Community and Shawn Young from Jolly Ranchers Community.

The Goodenough Community Fall Weekend - Oct. 2nd-7th

Register: Sahale Community Building Extended Weekend Fall 2025

Come experience the satisfaction of learning, playing, and working together in community! We'll get started Thursday morning, Oct 2, and carry on through Tuesday, Oct 7. Come for a day, or two, or all six!

The busy season will be over and we'll be taking down the Big Event Tent, as well as working on the infrastructure to get our new well online. We'll also do some land tending and other projects as time allows. We'll also make time to connect, have fun, and enjoy the land. This will be a great opportunity for new people to get to know the community and experience Sahale.
